Any tips what "must to see" with family activities?

You need to provide a LOT more information.

What time of year? How far are you traveling from (jetlag)? Assuming your family includes small children, how old are they? Are Disneyland or any other specific things on your list? Anything else outside the Greater L.A. Area? What are your general interests? Museums (art, science, history, etc.), beaches, ethnic foods/neighborhoods, shopping, mostly kid-oriented stuff, etc.? Do you like to see things you see on social media or do you prefer to explore a place in your own way?
