My husband and I are traveling in our truck camper and have estimated approximately 16 days for Glacier, Yellowstone, and the Tetons. We enjoy dry camping and plan on camping in small, primitive campgrounds. We will be arriving at Glacier on 7/11. I am posting this to gather any information about not to miss sights and how long we should stay at each park. Also, any campgrounds that are favorites along the way. I have been told not to miss Going to the Sun Road and the Beartooth Highway. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We enjoy hiking (<3-5 miles) and natural sights. We aren't into cities, museums, etc. Thanks again!!

Welcome to Fodors, pamfou! I notice that you have posted this as a trip report (a trip already completed) rather than a regular question post. I suggest you re-post this as a question, and also tag Montana in addition to Wyoming, since Glacier is in Montana.

Do you already have campground reservations? In July, you might have trouble finding space in/near the parks. Others may have better advice in this area, I think.

Be aware that there are restrictions on Going to the Sun Road. Vehicles over 10 feet in height and over 8 feet wide are not permitted on the road from Avalanche Creek area to Rising Sun.
