Glacier in June

Any updates on when/if the East side of Glacier will open in June? Is it worth it to go for just the West side if we've never been?

To me the most spectacular scenery is on the east side. The Going to the Sun Road may not be fully open in June and you'll need reservations to drive it this summer https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvis...ketedentry.htm Even if it's not fully open, you can still drive in some distance from both the west and east entrances. However to travel between the two sides you'll need to use Hwy 2. The road to Many Glacier and Two Medicine should be open. Keep in mind there's a lot of road construction in and around the park this year so it will take longer to get around and may affect where you decide to stay https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvis...rojectwork.htm
