Thanks for the report. I'm aorry the Black Squirrel was only interesting, :-) what was wrong?

It wasn't bad or anything. Just different from what I'm used to. I've never stayed at a b& b before.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. As I said, the bathrooms could have been cleaner. My friend and I each found spiders in our rooms. The owner was very nice, but a little casual. He greeted us in a tank top and kept raising his arms...maybe it's just me, but hairy armpits are particularly appealing to me. :) He was nice though, so I guess that's the important thing.

Breakfast was good. The rooms were comfortable and the grounds behind the house were pretty.

We did have fun. It was just a different experience for both of us. We're used to travelling to big cities, so this was a change of pace.

Oops. Meant to say that they AREN'T particularly appealing to me. Ick.

Thx S1. Having never ventured to S. Bass, is sounds similar to Put-in-Bay (?).

Put-in-Bay is located on South Bass Island.

I guess it IS similar then, LOL. I hear Bass Island(s) & I always think Canada, I forget (as I've not been to Put-in-Bay in some time) it IS actually on S. Bass. I'm more of a Kelley's fan (obviously).

SAnParis- I wouldn't mind trying Kelley's Island; it would be interesting to see how they compare.

Still want to go to Louisville too. And Lexington, and Great Smoky Mt. NP, and....

I could go on for days!
