Girls Weekend in Chicago
 

Three of us are excited about enjoying Chicago and each other without our young children. We are staying at the Westin Magnificent Mile and will have a car.
What smart, elegant, charming small restaurants do you recommend?
I have read about Pops. Is there a wonderful restaurant in that area to make it an evening?

There are tons of good restuarants near Pops. What type of did you have in mind?

I would recommend Blackbird - great food and atmosphere. (I don't think it's by Pops though.)

We'd like italian, american, french bistro.

What fun to have instant suggestions. Le Colonial sounds just our speed. We are interested in charm and atmosphere, good service and very good food. Any other ideas?
