Girls' weekend- Charlotte?

Hello all! My group of girlfriends (5 total) has been planning a girls' weekend in June. We originally thought about Asheville, but due to various factors, have decided to possibly change locations to Charlotte. One of the ladies will be moving there soon, so it eases the stress for her!

Can anyone suggest fun girly things to do in the area? We'll have somewhere to stay, so money is a bit less of an issue. Driving out of the city is not a problem.

Thanks in advance! :)

Shopping in South End's designer and antique shops. Shopping at SouthPark adn Phillips Place. Depending on the week-end, there might be a gallery crawl in NoDa. And first week-end there is the Metrolina antique market. What kinds of things do you like?

Those things sound great! I'm sorry, I should have been much more specific.

We're all mid-20s, combination of single and married. We enjoy "tame" nightlife, arts and culture, cute shops, restaurants, etc. Maybe a spa day? We're pretty open to any suggestions.

Look up Carmen Carmen for a spa day. There are several nice museums--the Mint, Mint Museum of Craft + Design. South End would be good fun for you to stroll--old warehouses converted to designer "booths".
What kind of dining? We've got some good restaurants.

Charles Grayson is another good spa.

Thank you, Gretchen! Those sound like great options. We have a few months before the trip to plan the specifics, but I am very excited and enjoy hearing about all the options :)
