Girls trip to Colorado
My girlfriends and I are in the beginning stages of planning a ski trip to Colorado in January or February. Originally we were thinking Vail but would be open to suggestions of fun places to stay. We would like to stay in a condo if possible as there will be six of us. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Depending on what kind of experience you seek, you just might like Steamboat over Vail. Check it.

A little more info would be helpful. Rank the following in order of importance. (1) varied terrain (trails for all levels); (2) nightlife;; (3) no crowds; (4) cost; (5) non-skiing activities.

Vail is fun and has the added plus of not needing a car. It also has great terrain for all types of skiing. You can google for Vail lodging. You might want to stay across the road for more reasonable prices but it is all connected by bus service.
Transportation from Denver will be a cost or you may be able to fly directly to Vail now. USAir has added that service. |
Summit County is another possibility. Lots of skiing, lots of condos, much to do in the area.

Vail is a great destination for a "Girls" trip. I'd stay in the Village or Lionshead. Tons of condos here are a couple of sites that might help if your on a budget.

Be very careful! I used to do an annual girls trip to Colorado in January. I ended up buying a home there! You will have a great time and fall in love with the high country.
