My favorite is at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. Bermuda also does a lovely one with each hotel and major restaurant submitting an entry.

lahaska pennsylvania near New Hope has a gingerbread house contest and display every year. this is about an hour north of philly.

Ditto on the Grove Park Inn Gingerbread Display. Their houses are amazing and worth a visit to Asheville!
