Gillette Stadium question
Another question please. How far is the subway station to the stadium? Can we walk or do we need to hop on a bus?
Do they enforce the no camera rules in the stadium?
Thanks for all your help!

It is right at the Stadium.
Here's the info:

They allow cameras, except for video cameras (Although I have seen small ones in the stands)

If you take the train, just make sure you make the last train back after the game.
Also, check regulations for what you can bring into Gillette - for example, no backpacks.
Game day train info is on MBTA.com and I think there is also a link of Patriots website.

Thanks everyone, as always you are a great source of info.
After reading the link from mailmarker0, I have one more question.
Is the stadium strict about the size of the purses allowed? It indicates a purse must be no larger than 8 1/2 x 11 x 6. That equates to a 6in. deep piece of paper. I know that my bag is small like a piece of paper but it's probably more like 9in deep. Do they do like the airport where you have to put your bag in a precut mold and if it fits you can take it - if not you must check it? This only concerns me because we are taking the train and I will have only the option of taking the bag into the stadium or throwing it away. Probably worrying about nothing but... Yikes! Can't live without my bag....
Thanks again.

I have never seen a template to check bag size, but I have never brought anything bag-like into stadium. My guess would be that it would be fine - but I also might not want to risk it. Maybe someone has some attractice 1 quart ziplock bags left over from their last plane trip.

LOL, gail! I think Gillette might even allow the gallon size.
larriola, your bag is 50 percent bigger than what they allow, so you are wise to check. But make sure you get an official answer, not just discussion-board opinions. Nine inches is pretty thick: measure it, it might not be as oversize as you think.
