GF in Russia on a river cruise
I just checked one tour company and thankfully, they told me that their company can't guarantee a GF menu on their river cruises through Russia. I've been told that traveling Russia on a river cruise is a good option because of 'shabby accommodations' (true?) on land. Any suggestions? As always, many thanks.

This post should be in Europe Forum or Cruise Forum.

This is the US forum - You will probably get more responses if you repost your question on the "Cruise" forum - use the "Change Forum" link at the top of this page.
You might also try posting your question on "Cruise Critic" - there are lots of cruise experts there |
All these abbreviations throw me. I thought GF here usually stands for girl friend, and assumed you were looking for your girlfriend who has gone off and disappeared on a cruise.
Gluten Free? |
I agree with Patrick; I thought you meant girlfriend too. You can get menus from river cruise companies by the way if Gluten Free is your concern.
|
The Glutens are an ethnic group who live in Russia near the Vegans.

Isn't gluteny one of the 7 deadly sins?

Accommodations in Russia are not shabby if your pay enough for them. It is true that many of their budget properties are not up to US standards.
But agree you need to move this to the europe forum. |

Only when measured by a carb-a-rator. |
Ouch!

And I thought it was for a gay-friendly cruise:)

Ooops, I thought I was on the Europe/Russia forum and yes, in this case, GF stands for gluten-free. I'll be more specific next time and head on over to the Europe/Russia forum. Thanks for your replies and yes, gluttony IS one of the seven deadly sins...just sayin'
