Getting to Turner Field?

Should I drive my car, or take public transportation to Turner Field from Buckhead, Atlanta?

I don't live there but have been to Turner Field a few times, and my gut tells me you should drive. It's gotta be easier all the way around.

Driving is relatively easy depending on what time you leave for the event at the stadium; Down 400 to 75/85 south, exit at Fulton St.. Public transportation on Marta at Buckhead Lenox Station to Little Five Points with shuttle from there.

I would drive if you are able. When they built MARTA, they did not take the rail to the stadium, you have to transfer on a bus to the stadium....it is a major pain IMO.

I agree with JudyRem in that transferring to the bus at the Little Five Points station is kind of a pain...BUT, it is considerably cheaper than paying the 10-20 bucks to park near the stadium. And the bus drops you off right at the gates to the stadium.

And if it's a night game, be VERY careful in those blocks surrounding the stadium. It gets pretty sketchy. Trust me, I live in the neighborhood.
