Getting to Bush
 

Any advice please on the best way to get from the San Francisco Airport to 975 Bush Street (Hotel Mayflower). Is there a better way than by taxi?

You can take BART from SFO..I would get off at the BART Powell St., station. Walk up Powell St., to Bush.

If by better you mean "cheaper, but still convenient" take the first shuttle going to San Francisco downtown area. The price is approximately $15.

If you take BART, it's a longish walk, up hill with luggage? Yeah, there must be buses, are you sure you want to do it with luggage?

You can take bus 27 from Powell BART or lines 2,3,4 from Montgomery BART

Hey....leave our president alone. OK, so he had to steal a "few" votes to win, but isn't that the nature of politicians. If your brother 'owned' a state, wouldn't you do the same thing?

TravelTess ... don't take his foot out of his mouth, then we would have to listen to more of his retoric, but I must admit, sometimes he is pretty funny - albeit unintentionally, but still pretty funny.

Gary ... take a shuttle to and from the airport. It's the cheapest and fastest way to go. The shuttle will drop you off at the hotel, and pick you up for the return SFO trip.
