I will also be getting married in Vegas and found the Little Church of the West to have the most positive feedback among those who have used their services (among non-hotel chapels). There are many sites with extensive info on the chapels, just use any browser and search for "vegas wedding chapel"

My wife & I got married at the Little Church of the West. We really like the atmosphere on the inside & outside, & the service was really nice. When we were married there though, it was located in front of the Hacienda Hotel. Before the hotel was torn down, the Little Church of the West was moved, the whole building, to its present site. Rev Bob Richards presided at our ceremony.

my husband and i were married there 10/4/98 and it was the little chapel of the west - they went out of their way to make us feel important - the craziest thing is getting your license - the initial paperwork is done in pencil and you don't need to provide any id - you could put batman and robin and nobody would know the difference

I was married NYE 2000 in Vegas. Due to the holiday and lack of spaces for receptions, we used Alexis Park Resort across from Hard Rock. I didn't want a package deal so I picked the florist, photographer, minister, food, etc.

Go to www.ultimatewedding.com - there is a forum just for Vegas brides and it's awesome.

Theresa
There are tons of beautiful chapels on the Strip in Vegas. Most casino resorts also have gorgeous chapels and reception locations. Do a Google search on "Las Vegas chapels" and you'll find a bunch.

Little Chapel of the Flowers (near Stratosphere) is very nice. There's a write up (and a contest to win a free wedding there) at http://www.getawayweddings.com/member/enter-sweepstakes.asp

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

My personal choice would be on a scenic overlook at Lake Tahoe. Any chapel will arrange that for you.
