Getting into Key West
Is there any other way to get from Miami or Ft. Lauderdale to Key West without driving? I thought you could catch a little puddle jumper to take you down, but after perusing some of the Key West messages, no one has mentioned it.

Yes, I have flown into Key West several times.
I think AA flies there... |
Continental and AA both have flights from Miami to Key West, but they're usually VERY expensive unless it's a continuation of another booked flight.
Other airlines fly in, too, but I can't remember what they are... |
Cape Air and Delta also fly into KW. THere is also a small, regional airline.
I have found flying out of FLL was cheaper then out of Miami |
I flew into Key West and yes we took a little plane from Tampa. Try Expedia or travelocity.

Our best deal flying into Key West in recent years has been a Delta flight from Atlanta. Is it possible for you to connect through a different city than Ft. Lauderdale or Miami?

Another option is the good old Greyhound bus. It runs from the Miami airport to the Key West airport. So, you wouldn't have to hassle with getting to a bus station. It certainly wouldn't be my first choice, but did come in handy when we were 'stranded' on Key West after 09-11.
United and US Air also fly into Key West. If you already have your tickets bought, I'd check out Cape Air. Jean |
I think Greyhound is stupid cheap, like $35 from MIA to EYW.
I think there is also a shuttle. |
USAirways also has service to EYW

Excellent! Thanks for all of the quick responses! We should be able to connect from somewhere other than Miami or FtL, so all of your suggestions were helpful! Thanks!
