How should we get from the airport in Monterey to San Francisco? We have some luggage and would prefer to transfer as smooth as possible. Does anyone know how we should do??

I lived in Monterey for a year, and I guess I would drive--it would be a 2-hour shuttle ride, which I would do much to avoid, but it's your call.

Renting a car 1 way would cost ~$40. Riding the shuttle one way is ~$35 for two people, but takes longer, thru Salinas and stopping here and there.
