Getting around in Miami

How are the buses in Miami? We'll be staying at the Eden Roc but will want to to tour Little Havana and other neighborhoods. I know there is a free trolley for the beach area.

Get a car if you want to do anything off the beach. The public trans. in Miami-Dade County is not very user-friendly.

definitely have to rent a car.

You would think that a city as cosmopolitan as Miami would have mastered the art of public transportation, but unfortunately no. You will need to rent a car or take taxis, unless you've got plenty of time to kill and an endless font of patience to deal with the bus.

I agree. You need a car.

I agree with the previous posters, rent a car. However, be prepared for horrendous traffic, especially on the 95.
