Georgetown sports bar?
 

I MUST locate a decent sports bar in Georgetown for Saturday. Any suggestions?

I remember going to one a block north on Wisconsin from M Street, but Washington Post now says there are NO sports bars in Georgetown. Seems strange, but I guess it's possible that it went out of business.

Any reason that you HAVE to stay in Georgetown? A short cab ride away is Sign of the Whale at 1825 M Street. Fairly decent for football and such.

You can try the Tombs. Don't have the address--it's very near Georgetown campus. Good atmosphere--it's a student bar, but a nice student bar.

Coincidentally, there's an online story regarding where to watch sports in DC on washingtonpost.com today. They recommend Rhino Bar and Pumphouse in G'town -- have been there before and it would definitely fit the bill for "decent."

Does it have to be in Georgetown? PoliTiki on Capitol Hill fits your description, but it's in the wrong place!
