Georgetown Hotels

Can someone recommend a boutique hotel in walking distance to all shops in Georgetown? Looking to go this weekend. Thank you!

We have stayed at both the Latham and the Georgetown Inn. The Latham is more expensive and more recently updated, however we had a gorgeous room at the Georgetown Inn - if you book here, make sure that you ask for a king room. It will be quieter at the back; however, if you have a streetside room you will be able to enjoy all of the Christmas activity of Georgetown. The Latham is famous for its restaurant Citronelle...possibly the best in all of D.C. Have a blast. It's so much fun and very pretty down there this time of year!

I'll second the Latham. Very nice hotel, good service and great location.

allure,

Actually, Citronelle was once rated one of the top five restaurants in the world.

At any rate if you stay there, you really should have dinner.

Citronelle is amazing. Easily the best restaurant in DC. Michel Richard is an artist.

Thank you to all. I actually booked at the Georgetown as I heard the rooms were bigger. We are only there one night so I am sure we will have a great time regardless....thanks again and happy holidays.
