Georges at the Cove-dress code
 
We're departing for our vacation in San Diego tomorrow. Have reservations at George's at the Cove (downstairs-fine dining)during our stay. What is the dress code? Is a jacket recommended?

Love that restaurant!! I would this that a jacket is NOT required (this is La Jolla after all, upscale but casual). But a very nice shirt and slacks (think Banana Republic) would be my recommendation for the guys; women seem to have much less trouble striking the right blend of "elegant" and "casual" that these kinds of places require. The locals can confirm or correct this, specifically a poster named Barbara who is incredibly helpful regarding San Diego/La Jolla.
