Gearing up for Spain then Italy
I love travelling, seeing other countries and all the history they have to offer; as where I'm from we don't have ancient structures still standing. They tear down everything old and build new in it's place. Anyhow getting back to my upcoming trip to Spain (where I have never visited), I am so excited. Now just to fill everyone in on our vacations, we always have some mishap (blunders and bloopers) that take place on every trip. I can't help but ask myself...What will it be this time? Does anyone know the climate there at this time of year? Is it hot days and cool nights?, or hot days and hot nights?, Does the whole city shut down at Siesta Time? I would appreciate your tips and positive comments

Spain in summer (except for the north atlantic coast) is very hot during the day (often 100 plus in the south) and also hot at night. Assume you need hotels with good AC, a pool for relaxing in the afternoon - and also be sure to stay well-hydrated.

Thanks Happytails, I have purchased 2 books one Barcelona's Best 25 and Italy. Once we arrive in Barcelona, we get on ship headed for Italy. Upon our return to Spain, we will spend a few days.
