Gazillion Christmas lights around boston

What is a good place to see winter wonderland type christmas lights around greater Boston area?

Attleboro is the home of LaSalette Shrine. The shrine has one of the most spectacular Christmas light displays in New England. Don't know if that might be too far for you, but here's some info:

There's always the Boston Commons!

Andrea--
Are you the same person who was willing to drive 50 miles for a good preschool for your child?! Where did you land? I just saw that thread and thought you were given sage advice.

As for Christmas lights, you might want to look into the Stone Zoo in Stoneham. I've never been but i hear they have a great display and it's not far from Saugus.

A family favorite of ours (which we learned about in the Boston Globe a few years ago) is to take the "ILluminations" tour in Somerville on Saturday night 12/16. It is run by the Somerville Arts Council (sorry, I don't have the website) and is quite something. If they don't have tickets on the trolleys available, just go there on Saturday night and buy a map from them at City Hall. It lays it all out for you and your can drive it yourself. We did this the first year and kept the map. So every year we go back!

Enjoy!

I second the Stone Zoo - from Saugus it's about 15 minutes.

Thanks for the sugestions. We might check out all of them to help us decide which one would be good.

We hope to make it a tradition till our kids head out to college.
