There are some very cool looking cabins overlooking the Craftsman Valley section Dollywood -- anyone know which those are?

If you need any Dollywood information, let me know. I've lost track of how many years we've had a season's pass, and we go several times a year. xrae @

Hope you enjoy the trip!

I'll second that recommendation for dinner at Park Grill. Avoid eating at Dollywood if at all possible - it was even bad for amusement park food!

snowrooster, I'm not sure what you ate at Dollywood, but everything I have eaten there has been pretty good.

The one thing I recall that really stood out was a BBQ sampler plate - everything on it was pretty bad. We were also disapointed that they didn't have any fresh squeezed lemonade (like you find at so many hot outdoor venues these days) but rather were charging super top dollar for the powdered mix kind.

Oh, wanted to mention we did really like the Aquarium in Gatlinburg if you have the time for it!

Hello - I vote for the Clarion - it is a great hotel. We enjoy the roooms that over look the street so we can see what is going on - the location is nice because if you want to leave town and not sit in traffic, you can easily access the bypass. The breakfast is great too. It is really the only place we stay when we stay in town.
