Gas Prices in Texas?
We are going to be traveling through Texas in a week and I was wondering what the prices are doing there now?
I am finding gas buddy, etc sites are not as accutate as they used to be. I think it is because the prices are fluctuating so much that they can't keep up. Thanks!

I filled up yesterday in Arlington, a small city near Dallas/Fort Worth. I paid 2.49 at the Racetrack gas station.
(I have to say, the stations a little further off the Interstates tend to be cheaper. If you are getting off the Interstate to buy gas, and you appear to be in a heavily populated area, try driving a block or two "in" and see if you can find a cheaper price. I think the stations right on the frontage/feeder roads are higher, 'cause they kind of "gotcha" if you're traveling through.)

"$2.299 at a Valero near my home in SW Houston."
This is a little off the subject, but isn't it silly how gas is priced down to the 9/10th of a cent? I understand that $2.299 looks better on the sign than $2.30, but I still think it's silly. I can't think of any other product where it's acceptable practice to price something in fractions of a cent.
