Gas prices

With the vacation season comming up, it would be interesting to have the price of gas all around the US.

I live in Quebec city and I am planning a trip to California. For those interested by Quebec, gas here is 64,9 cents a liter or about 1,64 US $ per US gallon.

Thank you for your informations

Here in Cincinnati it's $1.25/gallon at the moment, down from $1.40-1.50 a few weeks ago. Not sure how high summer prices will be though...

LA/ Calif area is currently around US$ 1.70 per US gallon (regular, 87 octane).

It usually increases $0.10 or so, in summer.

In Panama City, FL regular is $1.34 gallon. I think over in Destin, FL it is $1.40....it will go up with the increased tourist action also.

Around Richmond, least expensive about $1.27 per gallon of regular, at East Coast station near Richmond airport off I-64

I paid $1.68 at an Arco station in the South SF Bay Area today. Same price at Costco.

In Fargo today regular is $1.25/gal (U.S.). Highest I paid this time around was $1.54.
Major brand unleaded regular has dropped down to the $1.75-$1.79 range in most of the San Francisco Bay area. It is a little higher right in the city and a few other spots.

Here in north-central AZ, unleaded regular at ARCO (generally the cheapest chain) goes now for $1.41. Prices have come down recently. Remember, you are accustomed to the larger Imperial gallon.

Daniel has calculated the cost of a US gallon correctly. Gas is sold by the liter in Canada so the imperial gallon does not enter the picture anymore.

Here in my small town in central Minnesota, gas is $1.34 a gallon, but if we drive 14 miles, we can fill up for as low as $1.13/gallon! Needless to say, we fill up every time we're in the neighboring town.

Here in New Hampshire, regular is $1.49 today; higher in Boston.

We live just outside of Chicago, in Elgin, Illinois. The least expensive I can find is $1.53/gallon. My husband, who works in Chicago, says that you can't get it for less than $1.65/gallon.
