Midwest rural areas: running $1.29 to $1.34/gallon.

Geez Thats the best news I have heard all day.<BR>On Vancouver Island,BC we are paying 75.5 cents per liter or about $2.85 a gallon. Going to look at gasprice watch now. Do the prices fluctuate much in the States asn they do here in Victoria.<BR>Thanks Again<BR>Jan

Alwats expect to pay more in urban areass as there is usually a city tax on top of the price and sometimes a county tax too. I live in chicago and walked by the gas station one block from my house this morning - $1.79/gal

I just paid $2.21 a gallon in Death Valley last week!

OOPS forget to factor in the $ exchange.<BR>Our $2.85 CDN$ is @$1.79 US$. Not that much difference now but still better. Will stay away from Death Valley tho. Are tourist traps also likely to be higher?

In the Ft. Myers FL area the gas prices are running from $1.39 to about $1.49
