My friends and I (20 something single gals) are planning a trip to Chicago in the beginning of May. We are planning to see a Cubs game and do some shopping.<BR><BR>Wondering about some cool bars, clubs that we should check out. Not into techno/house music. How is the House of Blues?

Go to John Barleycorn (a bar) after the game, its about a block from Wrigley on Clark St.

Go to Ed Debevic's diner - cold beer, loud music and hysterical wait staff.<BR><BR>Marshall Fields on State is HUGE - Watertower is fun shopping too. If you have time, go shopping in Lincoln Park -much "hipper" than Michigan Ave stores.<BR><BR>Have a blast - great place for a girls weekend!

Wrigleyville will be a blast for you gals. The Cubby Bear, right across the street from Wrigley, is fun--expect a cover charge and good music.<BR><BR>The House of Blues is fun, pretty much the same in every city. Stop in to Buddy Guy's Legends for some true Chicago Blues.
