fun resort in austin area?
 

I thought there was a family resort somewhere close to austin...but I can't remember the name of it! anyone have an idea?

I don't think there are any resorts in the Austin area. Its mostly farmland. There is a neat Spam museum there though. For the resorts, you'll have to go to Northern Minnesota.

pat, are you talking about schlitterbahn in new braunfels? it's about 45 minutes from austin.

Pat...you are referring to Austin, TX, right? Barton Creek Resort? After that, the resorts I think of are La Cantera and Hyatt Hill Country, but both those are San Antonio, not Austin.

My brother just got back from a few days at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. He was alone, and really enjoyed it, but wished he had brought his kids. He was impressed by all the good family activities available.
