Fun Bar suggestions for 6 women
 

Looking for some suggestions for an upcoming trip to NYC for 6 girl friends. We like fun bars with alot going on, is there anything like the bar in coyote ugly? If not what is similar? Thanks so much.

I really loved Jekyl and Hyde in the Village! It was pretty fun with lots of surprises I would try and hit that one too.Not as wild as Coyote but still really worth a trip.

Do you really want something like Coyote Ugly? If so, Hogs & Heifers in the Meatpacking District is probably the closest thing (more so than the Coyote Ugly in the E. Village).

Red Rock West, owned by former Hogs and Heifers bartenders, is also just like the bar in coyote ugly complete with a flame-throwing act, cowboy hats and plenty of dancing on the bar. Also try Tortilla Flats, Automatic Slims and Village Idiot, all in the Village.

My absolute favorite (in my single days) was Brother Jimmy's on the Upper West Side - between 80th and 81st and Amsterdam. There are a number of bars in the low 80s and Amsterdam, so you can hop if you want. But Brother Jimmy's is fab - great 80s music like Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, mixed with more current stuff, fishbowl drinks, and yes, the bartenders do get up on the bar and pour drinks into people's mouths - and there are always lots of CUTE guys.
