Ft. Lauderdale in February- swimming?

Is it warm enough to swimm in a hotel pool, in Ft. Lauderdale, in February? If so how early could you go? (we are staying at a hotel with a great pool but have a plane to catch at noon...)

It all depends where your coming from.If your from up north it should be fine.Im from N.Y. if you can tolerate the ocean here in the summer than you should be able swim anywhere. Also most of the hotel pools are heated.
