from the airport to bourbon street
hi.can somebody tell me how much i have to pay for a taxi from the airport to bourbon street?, or should i go by bus? any suggestion??

I think it's $24 now - we personally prefer a taxi than the shuttle or bus. You get dropped off in order of where your hotel is located and sometimes it can be a while before yours falls in line. Granted, you can see more of the city and it's definitely cheaper (at least for one person) but we always want to get our stuff dropped off and be on our merry way after being on a plane most of the morning.

Stick with United Cabs if at all possible - they really are the best.
You have fun and enjoy the city! |
It's $28 now. Fixed price.

ccolor,
Waddya talkin' about??? You know you've already had a Lucky Dog, Abita Springs, Hi Octane slushie and scored some beads all before you even get close to the musty smelling luggage carosel! :-x Some of the best "Cabbie Convos" we ever had was with NOLA cabbies. See ya'll in October! ((8))((D)) ~o)((B)) |
Ahhhh, Kal - ya know me too well, hon - And you're right about the "extras" which are all part of the fun of N'Awlins!
jannik - Sorry I was wrong about the cost, but we're stilll going with the cabs in only 98 days from today! |
Jannik, you can take a bus from the airport to the French Quarter but it's SLOW. I'd splurge for the taxi at $28. You can also take the $10 airport shuttle to any of the large hotels.
