Do you have the TV on? 17-0 Seattle at the beginning of the second quarter! :'( GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!! =D> |
20-7 at the half!
|
Bring on the Steelers.
|
Sorry Bonnie! I know you are bummed.
What a great day for Hawk fans though! The last few years, we always went to the games on free tickets. That will definitely change now! |
I will be a good sport and say, congratulations to the Seahawks!!! :-) With the great game they played, and the injuries plaguing the Panthers, it was a pitiful sight for the Carolina fans! :-( I finally had to turn it off in the third quarter!
Oh, well ... there's always next year! :-) All you Seahawks fans .... good luck against Pittsburgh! May the best team win .... |
The positive side of it Bonnie was that Tar Heel fans could stop going back and forth on the channels and watch the Heels win a thriller over FSU!
|
Yes, Dan, you're right about that!!! Way to go, 'Heels! AND .... the Dukies lost Saturday! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! (Okay, it would have been much better if they'd lost to an ACC team, instead of Georgetown but you can't have everything! :-d ) Someone gave great Club Level tickets to a friend and I for that Wake Forest/N. C. State game on Saturday. That was so much fun, And State looked great in the second half ...
Dan, are you a big Hurricanes fan? I am really nervous about all the injuries we have right now. The other teams are trying to KILL us, I fear! :-( Sure hope Saturday night's game was an exception for this second half of the season! |
Yes, Bonnie, I am a big Hurricanes fan. I don't go to as many games as I would like, but I am enough of a fan to have spent quite a bit to acquire a Stanley Cup ticket a few years ago. The injuries could add up, but the big lead in the standings should help. I would love to beat out Ottawa though for home ice. What is funny is that I was driving with the family over to the RBC Center to get tickets for a hockey game on Saturday and completely forgot that it was right before the State game. It wasn't too terribly difficult to get in and out, and I enjoyed watching the last of the Duke game with the State fans. We had something in common on that one.
