God was assigning the human attributes and characteristics to Adam and Eve, and as He arrived at the end of his list, He asked, "Who wants to be able to pee out of a moving car?" and Adam jumped up with his hand high in the air, yelling "Me! Me! Pick Me!"
"So be it", said God.
And He turned to Eve and said, "Well, the last on the list I have is multiple orgasms, so, here yo go."

Pedantic addition to info: restaurant name comes from the fact that it is near the Union Square Farmer's Market, the source of its (and most good downtown restaurants') excellent fresh ingredients.

Where's the review Gary? Thanksgiving is coming round again. Curious how you liked it.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving last year at Friend of a Farmer.

The food was plentiful and delicious and tasted like it was home cooked. They did all they could to make it feel like we were in a home (with some friendly strangers) for the holiday. The rooms (upstairs and down) are not large so you feel cozy. The fixed price for Thanksgiving was $34 (don't know about this year) and we got plenty of food. The staff was helpful and friendly though some of the servers seemed new at it so service (or was it the kitchen) were a little slow. But we weren't in a hurry so who cares? Reservations for the holiday are a must and if they are full, ask for a wating list.

This group of reviews starts off with a bad one but the rest are raves reflecting our feeling. If we were in NYC this year we'd return.

My Thanksgiving is so big that I'm starting to get paranoid. I thought, well who else from the farms is coming?

Our apt is so small, I don't know if a turkey will fit

As long as this is not titled something about the Farmers Daughter, I think we can take it seriously lol

Scarlett, when faced with cooking a BIG turkey day dinner in a TINY kitchen, I bought an electric roaster - the kind that my grandmother used. I have loved it! I've even cooked the bird in it out on the porch - and had room in the oven for all the casseroles.

DRESSING, sweet potato, and squash!
