R5........I measured it!!

And, the last time I parked at the Atlanta airport, I said.........razzledazzle...my DH...said..what the hell?

I said I can remember we are parked in R5, because one of the ax murderers on fodors is called R5....razzledazzle.

He never understood, but I found the car upon our return home!!

I set a track record in high school that still hasn't been broken.

I just ate half a wedge of brie.

dogs can't look up
...at least according to the movie "Shaun of the Dead". Did anyone else see that movie? Talk about useless!

Good thread though Faina! Very entertaining, hehe.

lynnejoel1015 Jun 9th, 2006 05:58 PM

That just made me remember, too- at the end of senior year of high school, you know you vote on those "most likely to, best this that and the other thing, etc" things- I got Most Musical and Best Legs--- LOL now my legs are chunky and pale!!!

lynnejoel1015 Jun 9th, 2006 05:58 PM

I went to high school with Johnny Cash's daughters. My grandfather came from out of town to go to my brother's and my sister's graduation because Johnny was there. Roseanne was a couple of grades ahead of me and Cindy was a couple of grades below me.

Whatever algebra and geometry you forgot after high school you will relearn years later when your kids go to school!

Britney Spears is an anagram of Presbyterians.

(I actually learned that here on Fodor's! Who says there's no useful info here?)

Post number 4. Dang. Here come the intervention police.

I can say the alphabet backwords at breakneck lightning speed, thanks to a rainy day substitute teacher in 4th grade.

Ready?

Really, I can do this very fast, in just a few seconds. It is the ONLY thing I do that impresses my teenagers and their friends.

I auditioned for the role of Anna in "The King and I" -- didn't get the lead, but played one of the King's wives. Oh, this was in HS, in case you were wondering. :)

Fainia, good job on this thread! :)

I can write in mirror writing, very easily.

gomiki Jun 9th, 2006 06:21 PM

I watched Steven Tyler throw the ultimate fit backstage at Cleveland Stadium cuz the limo left w/o him.

and I once knew a woman who lived in Kansas City who seriously dated the lead singer of the band Kansas (dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind), but she left him because her career was calling her to make more of a commitment and he was a needy fella at the time...

Scarlett, what depilitory cream??????? COME ON, do tell.

I was told that the "Hubba Hubba" expression when leering at pretty girls originated with Chinese sailors. As they walked down the street and saw a pretty girl, they would say to each other, "Good? Bad? Good? Bad" = "Hub hao? Hub hao?"

I guess westerners observing this thought this sounded like "Hubba hubba," and thus a verbal expression of ogling was born.

We enjoy making up our own words.
