Free JetBlue to anywhere in the US

Me again. well life got in the way and we never booked our free flight to anywhere in the US that JetBlue flies. With time restraints (1 week only) we're probably going to have to take a short flight. Although we were thinking Florida I don't know how hot it may be in July. Any recommendations on where to go that it's not too sweaty and swampy. We're now thinking of St. Augustine. Reviews have been limited and so-so. Any input would be a real help. Thanks as always

Where are you starting from? How long is a "short" flight?

If they fly there... consider Seattle...

San Juan. If it gets too swampy jump in the waves and cool off.

Really, wouldn't it be easy for you to go to the Jet Blue website and look at the cities Jet Blue services from "New York" (not sure if you mean NYC or somewhere in NYS) and pick a destination that appeals to YOU. There are so many cities and without knowing your likes and dislikes it's difficult to make recommendations. All we know is you don't want "sweaty & swampy" so avoid going "south" instead look for destinations in the northern part of the country.

FYI - Temperatures in Florida (depending on where - it's a big state) during July will range from the mid 80's F. to the mid-90's F. - humidity can be pretty high.

I've visited southwest Florida in July several times and not found the heat to spoil the visits.

Always wanted to visit St. Augustine.

It's been a few years since I was in St. Augustine, but I thought it was lovely. Yes, it will be hot & humid in July.

If California, Seattle, or Portland Oregon are too far away for you, have you considered Portland, Maine? The coast of Maine is gorgeous, especially in July when there are beautiful gardens and flowers blooming everywhere. You could rent a car and go to Boothbay or Camden, both wonderful and scenic. There's a lot to see and do along the coast between Portland and Camden, and if you're ambitious and don't mind driving, you could probably fit in a day trip to Acadia NP.
