FREE Discover New Mexico Enchantment Card
Just in time for the Balloon Fiesta, this report popped up on Albuquerque on the Cheap today. This card gets you discounts in restaurants, salons, museum admission, etc.
Details on how to pick up a card are at http://www.abqonthecheap.com/freebie...-savings-card/ Lee Ann |
I just saw that over on FB, thanks for posting it LeeAnn. Deb

You know me, I'm a fan of cheap... :-)

Me, too!
Thanks so much for the tip! If I do come again this year, it'll be for either the Balloon Festival or for the birds at the Bosque de Apache. Did it say anywhere if there's an expiration date for the card? |
According to Albuquerque on the Cheap, it looks like it will be good for at least six months.

Thanks for the info. We are arriving tonight for ten days and it should be quite useful.

I picked up the card and the brochure at the tourist office in old town Albuquerque. The print was so small I gave up tryng to read it and never used the card.

Deb,
Thanks for posting your list. We ate with the group Saturday night at Los Cuetes Menaul. The Sheraton's shuttle hauled us there and back. The food was quite good as were the Margaritas. Later on during our trip we ate at Fosters Restaurant in Chama next to the Foster Hotel. Dinner was excellent, plentiful and inexpensive. I had the hamburger steak and DW had the roast pork special, each with mashed potatoes, veggies and a roll ($10.95 each). In Santa Fe we ate at the Blue Corn II, also vey good. We had a filling lunch at Tia Sophias in Santa Fe on the Plaza and a week later wanted to eat at The Shed but it Sunday and closed. |
We also picked up the card in downtown ABQ and saved over $25.
$5 per person off horse rides at Broken Saddle and 10% off the room rate at Comfort Suites, Taos. Lots of spa discounts but we sadly ran out of time... My DH and DD were tempted by the twofer offer at Sonic burger but one look at my face persuaded them that there was no way we were eating Sonic burgers in NM! |
Lee Ann, this is excellent. I am planning a trip to Albuquerque (Hyatt Tamaya) and Santa Fe area (and Bandelier) at the very end of March/early April for my husband and me (first trip alone in many years). This card has lots of discoutns for places I plan on going. Thanks!

You're welcome!
