RAVE: Glorious weather here in Raleigh, in the 70's, blue skies, brilliant sun........ Wow! RAVE: My Cairn Terrier's ((&)) 15th birthday today! Friends coming over. Party on the back porch.... filet mignon, chocolate cake, homemade ice cream, Margaritas.....all his favorites! (Well, maybe not the Margaritas! :-d) RAVE: A long weekend in the mountains, lunch at Chateau Morrisette on Monday, and getting to see the Fall foliage on the Blue Ridge Parkway RAVE: N.C. State Wolfpack.... You go, guys!!! RANT: My Carolina Panthers ... another story! :-( RAVE: Twenty-two pounds off now, exercised five times in the last week! Have a wonderful weekend, all! :-) |

Rave: Had a wonderful 5th wedding anniversary celebration on Peter Island in the British Virgin Islands.
Rant: We're back and our next trip is not till December :-( Rave: The weather has been lovely here in NJ the last few days. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. |

Interesting: there was another Friday rant/rave thread started -- seems to have disappeared. No complaints, though -- it's jor's project, okay with me.
Yes, bonniebroad -- another sparkler of a NC autumn day! Rant: cat-careless neighbors called me on 1 hr's notice to feed and check on cats for 3 days. They had 3 indoor cats, then had a baby and suddenly expect the cats to be outdoor cats, living in garage or wandering. Sighh. Rave: heading to San Francisco/Carmel for 35th anniv. trip and to see DS who at least didn't move all the way to Hawaii after college, but still miss him lots. |

Rave--Girls weekend and trying a new restaurant tonight! Rant--Our dog thinks its fun to go dig in the dirt ONLY when its raining. |

Fantastic Friday in NJ!!
Major work rant: Too much work, with deadlines and nobody to help! Salespeople who don't want to "get in line" for their stuff to get done, and commit to timeframes to turn around work that are unrealistic. Sooo Frustrating! :( Rave: It's Friday, the ((#))sun is shining & it's gonna be a beautiful weekend in NJ. (and I am NOT working through it). Bonniebroad - you are awesome! Keep up the good, healthy habits! :) Rave: Plumber-BIL is coming tomorrow to hook up our new Boiler & hot water heater ensuring toasty warm home this winter. Rave: Cashmere sweaters on pre-season sale at Lord & Taylor...wearing one right now from yesterday's lunchtime shopping excursion.:D Rave: Budman ((b)) planning NJ/NY Fodorite GTG! Rave: It's Thanksgiving weekend up here in Canada, can't wait for turkey dinner with my wonderful family. Rave: Soooo much to be thankful for! Too many to list! Rave: We may end up playing Boston...and I have tix for the playoffs as well... Rant: Have extra tickets that I don;t know how I'm going to get rid of.... Well, here it is again: RAVE: My tiny girl will be 6 months on Monday...where has the time gone? RANT: She got her first cold this week and has been waking several times a night...poor baby. Poor momma. RAVE: I've lost 2 more pounds-now 7 pounds under my pre pg weight and a size 3...woohoo! and one more RAVE: Taking Riley to the Pumpkin Patch today...First Halloween!! HAppy Friday everyone! |
Rave: I didn't have one earlier. Just got done meeting with a painting contractor who does very good work. The price was great. My aging home has cape cod wood shakes on all sides. A siding contrator came over a few weeks ago and wanted four times more to rip off the original shakes and put plastic shake siding on for 4 times more than painting. Can't bear to rip off all these nice shakes.

We came up a few years ago for the NC State/GA Tech game and had dinner at a wonderful place called The Second Empire..and then the next night at an Italian place that cuz referred to as "The Bone"! Anyway: Rave: It's autumn and I love it. Fall festivals around me everywhere this weekend. Rant: Absolutely nothing! |

(Well, it still is in my PDT time zone) Rave,Rave,Rave: Mr. R5 and I are off to the coast this weekend to celebrate our 10th anniversary! @};- Rave: He's still crazy 'bout bringin' flowers after all these years! B-} Rave to Bonnie who must be ready to go shopping,zany pet behavior (as Marilyn sez "the mind boggles"), the playoffs(viva la baseball!), fall weather and festivals-Scarlett have some spanikopata (sp?) for me, Budman's NJ vintage, AND all anniversary trips! R5 |

Rave: It's a beautiful day for working outside bagging leaves. and raves for budman's party.
Rant: They closed my email account at hotmail temporarily and my msm messinger because of too many wrong sign-in.s I've sent ten emails to them to explain I have deformed fingers from arthritis and don't feel all the keys so make alot of typos. So for three days getting rid ofPc trojans and viruses, I'm at wit's ends! |

Rave: It's Friday and a 3-day weekend!
Rant: My only rant for the week...Why are there 2 Friday Rant & Rave threads? Imitations can't fool me ;) Rave: Enjoying some college football tomorrow and the youngest son is coming home aferwards to spend some time with his parents....NOT (too busy visiting HS friends who are also coming home for the weekend!) Oh well, I'll take what I can get :) Rave: The fabulous weather! ((#)) Rave: Only one week left till we visit the oldest son in Boston. Graduation is only a few short months away :D He is diligently looking for a job - he has his heart set on an apartment in Manhattan. Hope he finds a well-paying job or a half-dozen roommates! Rave: Bonnie...keep up the great work Did you order Cooking Light yet? Rave: Going to try and plant some more daffidil bulbs this weekend and hope the squirrels don't dig them up on me again!
