Rant: 8-10" of snow here in Michigan yesterday morning, so I couldn't go to work.
Rave: 8-10" of snow here in Michigan so I couldn't go to work. Gave me plenty of time to prepare for 20 people for Christmas Eve dinner.
Rave: I'm grateful I had all my groceries and Christmas shopping done.
Lots of good wishes for a very Merry Christmas to all the great folks here!

Rant: A sparkling clear 22 F in Dallas this AM.
Rave: Finally "closed" on the house sale in a snow storm on Wednesday.
Rave: Wireless router access to SO's DSL replaced my E/L dial-up and Vonage VoIP replaced my "always corrupted" SBC land line.
Rave: Great health, prosperity, peace and happiness here and to all world wide.

My one and only rant-People are still without power, roads are an icy mess and the temps are hovering near 10 degrees right now.
Rave-Still in my pjs.
Rave-Cooking light magazine! I made some scrumptious treats to give to my calorie conscious dieting friends and relatives.
Rave-Santa Claus!
Rave-FFR's. (Jor, they did a nice write up on the Battle of Bulge in our paper today. My dad was captured in the Battle and spent the rest of WW2 in a German prison camp.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my special Fodor friends. May your New Year be bright and full of wonderful travels.

Rave: When we got home from vacation our Goddaughter was visiting, she is an angelO and we celebrated Christmas early
Rant: Caught a cold from a family member.....it's been 4 days and it's not letting up. The older you get the harder it is to shake these things
Rave: Tonight hubby & I will be celebrating christmas eve with another angel, the lady that introduced us

Rave:It's in the 60's and crystal clear here in the SF Bay Area. It's perfect weather for refilling all the bird feeders and fluffing the garden a bit.

ur goddaughter is home from her first semester in college. She came to dinner last night and really wants her new gentleman friend to meet us. When we suggested dinner at our house she beamed!! She said"he's classy but you guys are classier". Ah, youth!
Rant: the death of a dear friend's father on the 20th. She's in MN beneath all that snow. She and he were troopers together until the end. He was a very lucky man to have her at his side through the end stages of cancer.Ah, the swift and transient nature of life!
Rave: Great wishes for you and yours to have a joyous holiday and a peaceful new year. Thank you to all who helped make our trip to France so fabulous.
Rave: We found the "Festivus" episode of Seinfeld on DVD and will be watching it this evening.
