Rant: I've been having lower abdominal pain for 3 weeks now. Spent Easter Sunday in the emergency room. Got several tests already, all coming up negative thank goodness. It is probably a kidney stone.

Rant: The drugs for pain. I don't understand how anyone can become hooked on pain pills. They make me feel groggy.

Rave: My 9 year old niece is an angel O She made me a get well card. She is more cute and precious every day, I didn't think that was possible. Her Auntie loves her.....

Rave: Rusty dog (the kidnapped dog) is staying with my inlaws while his parents are out of the country for a few weeks. Rusty is just like a person, he won't socialize with the other dogs and thinks he is human ((&))((&))((&)) After 2 days he starts to smell like an old man and must be bathed He's 11 years old and a great pup

Rave: Hawaii in 14 days

Rave: Got to move up a cabin catergory on an upcoming cruise for free because of our great ta

Have a great weekend travelers and Happy April Fools

Rave: Had a great time in Portland. Stayed at the Riverplace, it was wonderful as always! We enjoyed the Pittock Mansion and the Chinese Classical Gardens very much! Had tea in the tea room at the CCG. Very nice!

Rave: Lots of great eats in Portland. Wildwood, Higgns and Park Kitchen were all excellent. Pho Van Bistro was really nice for lunch one afternnon.

Rave: Verdun chocolates and Vigne in the Pearl District! Yum!

Rave: My cool blush colored wallet from Nordstrom's in Portland!

Rave: The Oregon Coast was gorgeous as always. Enjoyed Ecola State Park very much and took some great photos from the walking trails. Could have stayed there all afternoon, our time is always too short on the coast!

Rave: Seaside was beautiful, we enjoyed long leisurely bike rides every day and sitting on the beach. Found some new places to eat that we loved in Seaside!

Rant: Our meal at the Shoalwater in
Seaview was disappointing. They are usually great there, it was obviously a very off-night.

Rave: Astoria was lots of fun, enjoyed the Vintner's Room at the Hotel Elliott for a flight of Pinot Noir tasting after a very nice dinner with our son and his friend at Fulio's Pastaria.

Rave: Easter was very nice, church then a family brunch with husband's family. About 20 of us got together, then our family for dinner.

Happy weekend! ***kim***

eileenleft: I find the best time to avoid the news is when there has been something tragic in your life recently. It only seems to make things feel worse. As they say, no news is good news.

OO-I agree with you. I heard on the news this morning that Michael Schiavo now wants to have her cremated and buried in PA at an undisclosed plot where her parent's can't go. He has another family and common law wife, why can't he let her family have her now?

Multiple Raves-
Fat & happy on va-cay in FL
Averaging 4 Coronas a day plus lots of fattening food. I'll worry about the weight gain when I get home.
Two teens (one in a state of constant surliness since 6th grade) who aren't fighting on vacation.

Rant: Was supposed to go to Vermont today to see a client. Was up at 4, at La Guardia by 6 for a 7:30 flight that never went. Thank you very much US Air. Today's excuse, waiting on a maintenance crew. For 2 1/2 hours!!!!! No wonder they're bankrupt. Home now, going to take a nap.
Rave: I'm home!
Rave: Going to Napa/Sonoma for a few days in 2 weeks. Research on the web this weekend.
Rave: My console piece that I ordered is being delivered tomorrow. Next, my new 50" TV

TGIF and happy weekend all

Dan: Congratulations! I remember when you got married and went on your honeymoom a year ago. Raleigh is a great name, very regal.

Rave: Back from Japan trip w/son, it was the most incredible experience of my life. Loved Japan, also loved traveling internationally again as I have not done a pleasure trip outside the U.S. since my twenties. This trip was so empowering and affirmative for both of us.

Rave: I am officially over the hill now, some would say. I turned 50 this wk. But it's a rave.

Rave: I'm thankful it's Friday and that my family is well. The sun actually came out today!

Rant: Heavy rain tomorrow.

Rant: We have NO family vacation plans in place. GMATs, Board certs, and new jobs have left us with only a handful of days at the end of May. It's already April -- it doesn't look good, folks.

Rave: We went to Hoboken last Saturday (my DS is considering living there when he starts his new job) and we all enjoyed this terrific homemade pasta at this little corner restaurant which I can't remember the name of -- at this moment, at least.

Ryan: I haven't seen you on these boards the last couple of weeks - I hope you are doing well. You are right, Hoboken is a great place for young people!

Rave: Commencement in 7 weeks!

Rave: I lost 1 little pound - ugh, I'm starving.

Congratulations Dan! What a big boy

Wishing those of you who are having difficult times with health and bad news, better days.

Happy weekend, everyone

Happy gloomy Sunday here in Boston.
Rants: Those who are ill/or loved ones and whatever losses, Squirrels birthing on the roof who leave a huge mess in my tiny patio. This year shredded paper and I can see a plastic bag hanging overhead. The snows this winter hasen't supplied them with enough natural supplies for their nest.
Rave: Life goes on.
