Good morning dear friends, thank you for your continuous support.

I was so sad and upset last night and I did write that I had lost my friend that was like a sister to me as I wanted to call to everyones attention that we sometimes get so busy we keep meaning to stay in touch with those we care about and somehow the days and weeks fly by without our realizing it.

Fortunatly I guess you could say that Barbara and I probably spent more time together then most friends ever do. High School, then working together at the same job, going to SF together, recreation time etc. And then after I was married Barbara's company closed their office and Barbara came to work for us. So we were together every day and most days had lunch together, coffee breaks etc.

And I do feel blessed that these last weeks we were able to tell each other the love we had for each other time we talked. For that I am grateful.

After this week is over I need to concentrate on keeping in touch with other dear friends. Life goes by so quickly and we never know when someone will be taken from us. I have been blessed throughout my life with beautiful friends but I realize I have been remiss in some cases about reaching out as much as I should and could have. I will make sure that Barbara's death will be honored by being a better friend to all the loved ones in my life.

I am glad Barbara's suffering has come to an end and that her spirit and that of her friendship lives on.
