Can it be? Is it really 8:30am EST and no one has started the Freaky Friday thread??? ALRIGHT, I'll do it. :)

Rave: The Olympics are going to start soon.

Rave: We can move into our new house on Labor Day weekend. Yippee!

Rave: To relieve stress from the housebuilding process, I've been working out the last 2 weeks and I'm already starting to firm up.

Rant: I'm sore.

Rave: It's been delightfully cool this week in my part of the world.

Rant: It's also been raining.

Rave: My daughter has her horseback riding lesson today. Ooohhhh, she loves it.

Rave: The "This forum is so addicting thread" on the Europe board.

Let's get this ball rolling!

Rave: My usual end of the month rave...it's Friday AND it's pay day!

Rave: It's tax free weekend on school supplies, clothing, computers and accessories....I see a new computer at home!

Rants: None so far.

Rave: The beautiful soapstone sculpture I bought while visiting the Rockies in British Columbia arrived yesterday.

Rave: it looks perfect in the spot I visioned it for in my living room.

Rant: The tax free purchases on school supplies does NOT include, of all things, lunch boxes!

Rave: Marlins sweep the Phillies! Rave...not too much to rave about and that is GOOD! :-D

Rave: Leaving for European cruise in less than 72 hours for 16 glorious days! 8-)

Rant: Can't possibly think of a single one.

Oops, yes I can, I'll miss my ((@))!

Rave: We're leaving for the West coast of Ireland in 10 days!

Rant: NONE!

Here goes:

RAVE: Lost my 11th pound today, have walked 39 days in a row!;;)

RAVE: Family arriving tomorrow for a visit to the beach!

RAVE: Jayne ascended and descended 14 times on this last trip, and is gonna tell us about it! ATTAGIRL, Jayne!:-)

RAVE: Summer in Raleigh, and we're in the high 80's, not the 90's How wonderful!

Rave: Doing a girls get-together in Atlanta this weekend. Visiting a couple of girl friends I haven't seen in over 2 years. Yeah!
Rant: Will miss the hubby and the 2-year-old :-(

Rave: Bonnieboard lost 11 pounds!

Rant: I gained 2 while on vacation!

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

Rave: All my guests from the past month are gone and DH and I now have our home to ourselves again. Ahhhh.

Rave: After some much needed rain, the weather is so gorgeous that I can see the fine line of the horizon on the ocean, along with five surrounding islands very clearly.

Rave: It's Friday and it's pay day! Looking forward to a quiet, relaxing weekend of reading after I get all my chores done.

Rant: My uncle is very sick in the hospital. We're hoping he will pull thru.

Rave: Attending my 25th high school reunion next week - and I am still the same size I was in 1979! Yay! :)

Rant: It's an almost 8 hour drive.

Rave: One of my best friends I have not seen in 20 years will be there!

Rant: Some people I really wanted to see will not... :(

Rave: I'm with ya on the temps Bonnie. We have another horse show here in Raleigh this weekend, and it may rain, but at least it won't be 100! Congrats on the walking!

Rosemary and Leona and caribtraveler - I'm jealous. Sounds like fun! Have a great time!

Rave: I am getting married one week from today, and leaving for Hawaii next Saturday!!

Rant: One of our cars just broke down, may be dead for good, and it's the worse possible time for $$ because of the wedding and honeymoon.

iceeu2: At least in the State of Florida. I even went back in the store to inquire about it after looking at my receipt. The customer service lady showed me the list the State provides, and there it was..lunch boxes are taxed as normal. Even ones under $10.00.
Go figure. /:)

Rave: I'm flying to St Louis for the weekend to visit a friend from college.

Rave: I get to have dinner at Chez Leon in the Central West End tonight!

Rant: When I get back Sunday it'll be August. Where did July go?

Rave--Friends coming to visit for the weekend.

Rave--DH is climbing Mt. Hood again with friends.

Rant--Still need to do some cleaning before everyone arrives today...but I really don't mind:)

BTW, regarding "tax free" shopping - by me, socks are taxable as they are considered an "accessory". Don't know if that is the same where you are. It just came as a surprise to me!
