hi.. well, we have not heard any more than that. here is a local article. they said they were sure no substance was involved. it was on the off ramp, i'm guessing he had not slowed from the highway speed. http://www.azcentral.com/community/s...crash0620.html

Please do not respond to this post. I just need to vent.
Two weeks from this evening I am supposed to be off on our trip to London.
I am having a bit of a health problem and getting some news that I did not expect.
If you are so inclined, please send up a little prayer or two on my behalf.
Fear can cause a person to put certain things off -- I'm here to tell you not to make that mistake.

This is not a response, just a vent. 5 days before my trip to London/Portugal a health problem of DH's almost caused me to cancel my trip. Long story short, DH got better and I was able to go. But I know how it feels to think about it and wonder. Please have faith that things will work out for the best.
Since I am not officially responding to any particular post, let me say that all Fodorites in need are in my prayers.

Hello STW, I am really bad about following rules so I just wanted to let you know that a prayer is sent that your health problem will be resolved and that you will take that trip to London. I send you my very best wishes!

STW - prayers and good thoughts are headed your way.
And speaking of fear getting the best of you, my mother is a living example. She has a number of ailments which need to get treated; however, she is so afraid of "who's going to take care of dad" if something is wrong with her, so she puts off her own medical appointments. To her, no news is good news. As long as she takes her mega doses of Tylenol, etc., she says she's okay. But as her daughter, that makes me very nervous about what's to become of mother if she keeps delaying the inevitable.
