Rant: Passive Aggressive people...people who want to ruin you but won't address you in person.

Rave: People who tell the truth and don't hide under their mother's skirt.

Am I first here? Whoa. Don't think I've ever been the early bird...

Jor--I completely agree w/your rant. I am dealing w/a two-faced, backstabber at work and hate that crap.

Rave: My husband and I got some incredible news yesterday. If all goes well, I'll be telling you all about it in November ;) :$ [-o<

Oh and one more thing:

Rave: Yahoo...OWJ. We'll say a prayer for your good news.

Rant: People who feel a family's private business should be spread all over the news. And politicians who feel the need to be involved.

Rave: Leaving for Virginia on Sunday.

Rant: Having to go to a soccer tournament today and tomorrow in this crappy weather here in NJ. Will the sun ever shine again?

Rant: The escalating price of college tuitions. When my son started college 6 years ago, the tuition was $29,000. a year. It is now $41,000. a year. Thank heavens he graduated 2 years ago. My friends daughter is attending this school and is fearful about the escalating costs.

Rave: No work today. Was suppose to be off half a day, but a board meeting Wednesday morning and Annual Meeting that night made for a 14 hour day, so boss gave us a break today.

Rave: DD, SIL and grandkids coming to town next Thursday for my retirement party.

Rave: Its sunny already this morning, temps are going up and spring is finally in the air.

Rave: OWJ's news - lots of prayers coming your way.

Rant: Intrusive government.

Rave: A houseful of children , grandchildren, and grandpuppies coming for Easter weekend.

Rant: Weatherman is unkind! Storms predicted.

Rave: Plenty of indoor activities available--eggs to be dyed, dozens of bunny-, egg-, and carrot-shaped cookies already made and ready for little hands to decorate.

Rave: My youngest brother and his family are here through Sunday and the weather has been beautiful ((#))

RANT: Back to the same ole, same ole.

RAVE: DS did great at the grandparents' house, which means we can plan another adults-only vacation next time!

RAVE: Get to see lots of family this weekend for Easter.

I could rant, but all the bad news in the news this week makes me realize how lucky I am. Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Rant: posters who try to advertise here but never help anyone.
Rave: posters on this board who give helpful answers
Rave: going to Asheville, NC soon to work with some free time to smell the flowers and do some hiking.
Rant: people who complaint about high gas prices, live in the city but drive giant SUVs
Rant: parents who think they have to send kids to private colleges and complaint about high tuition prices.
Rave: all people who graduated from public colleges and are still honest and happy people
Rave: all travelers who are able to deal with small problems when traveling without too much complaining
Rave: like is good

Rave: I'm no longer sick! The crud that hung on for almost for two weeks (even with antibiotics) is almost gone.

Rave: Beautiful blue sky spring days with temps in the 70's, daffodils and violets in full bloom and birds everywhere. Almost a Pollyannish, Technicolor movie set.

Rave: Spent the day yesterday with a New Orleans gal that was "a hoot" and charmed everyone who crossed our paths. Got to go back to NO and BBQ shrimp at Pascals Manole (apologize for SIC)

RAVE: It's Good Friday and we're leaving for a road trip in an hour!

RAVE: Congratulations OWJ!!!!

RAVE: Happy Easter everyone.

Rave: 4 days away from the madhouse of this semester.

Rave: Hearing GOOD NEWS, OWJ!

Rave: Two days to prepare for all the greatly loved friends and family coming to my house on Sunday and also enough time to get to Church and prepare myself, as well.

Rave: The great gift of inherited genes that have kept the minds of my elderly, sharp as tacks well into the late 80's and beyond.

Rant/Rave: Although the fields look drab and too wet to hide eggs there (not very springlike or Eastery), at least it will make it moot for Great-Grandpa Bunny to even consider this again, and therefore most of the dirt/mud will stay outside of the house where it belongs.

Rave: SO's family will all be here on Sunday for the egg hunt and dinner.

Rant: Bad week in the medical department - SO's former H was dx'ed with renal cell carcinoma and her good friend of 45 years was dx'ed with breast and probably ovarian ca.

Rants: none!

Raves: The back is feeling better. There are indications that Spring may be arriving soon. The good new posted by OWJ. Places like Hawaii exist and I am able to plan a vacation there for 2 weeks this summer.

Oh yeah--Big Rave OFF FROM WORK TODAY!

Rave: Can't resist, kudos to Pat2003. Our state schools are the buy of a lifetime and on any continent, and this is coming from a private school faculty/staff librarian. And one, if not the very best buy of them all is University of Illinois- HOME to the Illini who are now one of the select EIGHT. Final Four is coming up after 1 more win- GO Illini! I never wore Orange at Easter before! Lightening up my hair with some streaks to make a better match.

Biggest Rave: If you visit you will see my daughter's name carved into the library's wall at Champaign/Urbana. Summa cum laude! Every one of mine has graduated from a different state publicly funded college and they all have achieved. One was a CPA before his 21st birthday, and recruited to a top firm in Chicago by the end of his Junior year. Northern Illinois has a great accountancy program. Ohio State is another very good buy.
