Oh no, spectator sport for me only!

But I did learn not to sit in the grandstand, just off to the left of the line of pitching. These chips are rather flat like a frisbee, and a few people winged them right into the stands. Grand prize for the best thrower is a trip to the National Championship in Oklahoma. Maybe someday I'll have to go to root for the Wisconsin team :-) .

STARSVILLE - I think that the trip to Talkeetna, Alaska for the Annual Moose Dropping Festival sounds like its worth the trip.

What a hoot! Do people cheer the moose on and clap -n stuff? LOL Its so silly, I'll bet its loads of fun.

PLACEU2 - If Intercourse, PA doesn't have a festival, I think they should start one. Hmmm...what should be the theme?

Murphysboro IL has the Apple Festival complete with Captain Applesauce heading the parade. My sister was a queen candidate many years ago and when asked what was her favorite fruit, she replied... grapes! Needless to say, she didn't win.
