Frank Lloyd Wright homes in PA
We plan to visit Fallingwater and probably one of his other homes in the area: Kentuck Knob or Duncan House. We are going from this area to Pittsburgh when finished. Can you give me any input about eithe Kentuck Know or Duncan HOuse. thank you

I'll let you know in about an hour :) I'm at the Duncan House now waiting for our tour to begin.

I toured both, along with Fallingwater, last Sept with a Road Scholar tour. If you can only do one of the 2 for some reason, I would definitely pick Kentuck Knob. It was an amazing place and to me had much more interest than the Duncan House. If you are able I would also encourage you to not miss the sculptures on the grounds. Our group had a private tour so I am not sure if you would have access to the grounds as well.

I would do all three. The grounds of Kentuck Knob are very pretty but the interior of the Duncan House was startling. It's definitely a departure from his other homes. We toured all three houses at Polymath Park in exactly 1 hour, so you could hit all three sites in a day. Plus, you can stay overnight at Polymath Park which would be really neat.

You folks are GREAT!

Have any of you done the indepth tour. I guess it allows you to take pictures and you also see the kitchen, servants quarters and basement. Any input?

At Polymath Park, no interior photos were allowed. I don't remover if that was the case at Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. I'm sure the websites will have that info.

Make reservations in advance if you want to see those houses.
