Fox Car Rental in Phoenix
 

I am shopping for a car rental next month and came up with the best deal, $$ wise, at Fox. They are off site and you need to call a shuttle upon arrival at the airport. Has anyone used this company and are they reliable? Or do you get what you pay for.

We used them and the rate could not be beat! I was leary...I even called and talked to a real person and said "Are you SURE you'll have a min-van ready for us?" It worked out fine and we saved a lot of $$$.

Fox is fine--just inspect your car for dents before you take off, and watch out for the line "so, you just want the basic insurance with that, right?"

As a follow-up. Fox rental worked out fine for us last summer. We called from the airport and their shuttle picked us up. There was no pressure for additional insurance and a gas station for on the way back was right across the street. Easy and much better deal.

I'm confused.

When I went to the Fox website, it says they are located at the airport AND they are $10 higher per day than Payless Car Rental.

While I'm here, does anyone have any opinions about Payless Car Rental?

They are cheaper on Orbitz than on their own website but still higher than Payless.

Orbitz also shows them to be INSIDE the terminal.

I saw on a website today that Fox has moved to the terminal.
