Four Seasons-Scottsdale-HELP!

My husband and I have been offered a four night stay at the Four Seasons Resort in Scottsdale for $375 total. The catch is we must spend 90 minutes touring their vacation ownership village. I don't know much about this location but it appears to be absolutely beautiful. Can anyone offer feedback on the resort and if you think this offer is worth it?

What time of year?
The only real downside to the FS Scottsdale is that it is a loooong way from everything you would want to do away from the resort. Rooms are casitas scattered across the property. Views are very nice as it is in the low elevations north of town. Room decor is (surprise!) southwestern, but very nice.
Don't know about the restaurants.

As for the rate, the typical rate there is $450+ per night during the busier winter/spring months, so obviously you're getting a great deal.
Would I ever buy a property there? No way. Lots of reasons, not the least of which are resale limitations, valuation, etc etc etc.
But for a nearly free trip to this very nice resort, I'd listen to their speil for a few minutes.

Thanks for the response. We can make arrangements to stay anytime between now and May 2002. The only exception is the holidays. We were thinking we would try early spring next year. How far is Scottsdale from Phoenix or Sedona?

Phoenix is about 30-45 minutes, but I guess that depends what part of Phoenix.

Sedona (always worth the trip) is about 2 hours north.

Believe it or not, while the Four Seasons appears as a Scottsdale address on the map, it is almost 20 miles from downtown Scottsdale. The drive to downtown Phoenix will take you over an hour on weekdays, 40+ minutes on weekends.
The best time (in my opinion) to visit Phoenix is April or May...or October in the fall. Weather is often beautiful. In the spring the Valley/desert is in 'bloom' with lots of greenery and flowers in the desert and on the rocks.
If you like nice resorts, check out the Boulders in Carefree (just north of the Four Seasons).
The trip to Sedona is well worth it.
