FOUR SEASONS OR NOT?
 

Would like to treat our daughter, who will be the big "21" in June, to a special trip to Las Vegas. I have checked out the Four Seasons on the internet and it seems quite steep. I'm willing to pay $325 a night for something that's really special but don't know if this particular property is worth it. Can anyone suggest another really nice hotel or do you think this is worth the money. I would appreciate any help I can get.

You can get a better rate at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas by calling the hotel direct. Ask for the least expensive and go up from there. I took my niece for her 16th birthday and we stayed at the Venetian. All the rooms are suites and the Canal Shops are downstairs. The Four Sesons is great but very quiet and elegant. The nightclubs and gambling are next door at the Mandalay Bay. The Four Seasons rooms are on the top floors at Mandalay Bay. Check the Hard Rock Hotel for their concert schedule. They have a very small venue with great groups. You can look up Venetian.com and the Mandalay Bay Hotel and see what they have.

Yes-the 4 seasons is the 35th -39th floors of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino..

four seasons definitely! it's a beautiful hotel and you get to use mandalay bay's wave pool and beach! if you're lucky you can get rooms for $200 during low season. always ask if there are any packages!

The Four Seasons is on top of Mandalay Bay and it actually has 5 floors to it....35, 36, 37, 38 & 39 ! so nj girl, you are technically right...35th -39 floor.

Linda & Katy- why would anyone want to take their 21 year old daughter and 16 year old niece to Las Vegas- "sin city"? Outside of the red light district in Amsterdam, I can't imagine a worse place to "treat" a young person or child. When there are so many places to go, why would you choose a place with very little or no redeemable qualities-- and then to pay $325/night for something "really special"?? What do you want to teach them-- gambling, what goes on in a nightclub, etc... Is that the only "culture" you grew up with?

Oh please x, she is turning 21. Do you really think she would prefer to go to Paris and check out the Louvre? She wants to have some fun (as most college students do)and staying at the Four Seasons is not a shabby B-day present! My parents stayed there about a year ago and really liked it. Aside from that I have not been inside the hotel. The pictures however were beautiful and it is supposed to be one of the very best hotels there. I would continue to check around for better rates however. It seems a little steep. You could also try Mandalay Bay, Bellagio... There are so many to choose from.

Linda you've probably already booked your hotel but maybe this will help others. I just got back from Vegas where I stayed at Mandalay Bay.Loved my room and loved the pool.The Four Seasons guests had their own small pool in addition to the use of ours.Like I said I loved Mandalay Bay--the lobby is quiet, it isn't over the top in glitz etc.I thought this is where I will stay the next time I come. That was until I took a little tour of the Four Seasons.It was so elegant,service seemed impecable.I than asked to see one of their rooms.Lets just say I will be staying at Mandaley the next time. The rooms, at least the one I saw is comprable to what I had in Mandaley and lets just say I payed a lot less. Hope you have a nice time.
