Fort Myers beachRetreat beach house and things for kids to do?

My kids ages 10 & 8 and I are planning to stay at a beach house on estero blvd. Has anyone heard of BeachRetreat or had any experiences with them? It's been a long time since we've been on vaction and want it to be a vaction to remember.
Also anyone have good recomendations for fun things for kids to do in the area.
Thank you,
Karen, Trey & Autumn

I am sorry I don't know that place, but I cangive some info about things to do. I love the miniature golf places right before Ft. Myers beach. One of them has some actual alligators on the property. Lovers Key State park has a nature walk that could be fun and interesting. Also, Manatee Park in N. Ft. Myers, ot see the manatees. When are you coming down? Sanibel has some great shell collecting, which I loce to do. The Gulf is warming up now, and there is alaways the wonderful beach.

Thank you for the reply. We are going to e in sunny Florida the first week in June.
Does anyone know if the everglade tours are worth the money. $99 dollars for an adult and $79 for children seems a little steep to me. Has anyone done on of these day trips??
Thanks,
Karen, Trey age 10 & Autumn age 8

We did the tour of the Evergaldes through he Park system at 22$ for adults. It was good and we spotted lots of Dolphins. Does your tour include the transportation to Everglades? Check on the Park's web site for more info. The first week in June will be vwery warm and the Gulf will be around mid 80's. I do hope you have a great time! E=mail me if you need more info [email protected]
