Great story, but I hope no one is tossing my ashes in March, 2015!

I am not sure this is what you are asking for but here goes. I have stayed at the Royal Beach Club Resort in Ft Myers Beach. The word Resort is a bit misleading as it does not have the amenities that I would expect at a resort. However, it is kid friendly.

We rented a townhouse/condo right on the beach. If you look at the youtube video below, we rented the condo depicted at 34-41 sec. It was 3 floors with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. It may not be large enough for all of you. However, in this particular building there are 3 townhouse/condo. You may need more that one to be comfortable.

I liked Ft Myers because it was low key. I have never been to Naples so I cannot comment on the city.
