Fort Myers Beach 40th birthday help
 

Please help! Taking my wife to Fort Myers beach for her 40th birthday for a week. Want to make it memorable. Any ideas on fun, romantic activities?

Check out www.leeislandcoast.com for all kinds of great things to do in the area. It's a great site from the local Visitors and Convention Bureau that really has a lot of good information. The beaches are great, plus you are a short drive from Sanibel, Captiva, the Everglades, The Edison-Ford Winter Estates. This is also a huge fishing and golf area if you are in to those activites. When having a drink watching the sunset in Times Square on FM Beach, I have seen a 3 masted schooner cruising out for sunset. It must leave from Ft Myers Beach. That would be pretty great I think. There is also a lovely spa at the Hyatt in Estero...I think you can book a spa day there without staying at the hotel. You can also do the same at the Sanibel Harbour resort. LMF
